Hey there,
We met some years ago when you came to Rio and your translator asked me to take you to some record stores… probly don’t remember anymore but I was checking some of your tunes and got curious if that stuff was of any use for you.
But even more, when are you coming back? Your set is wicked!
best,
LT

Hello LT and Jim,
Yeah I remember those records I picked up in Rio. They were great… still going through them now!
Space Cadet book is pretty much done. Now I have to concentrate more on finishing the soundtrack… all the piano parts are done, just working on the turntables now.
Cool!

Hey, really looking forward to the show… probably going to the Bunbury version of Grooving the Moo, although maybe Rosemount in Perth… I’m a teacher in Busselton (beautiful seaside town close to Bunbury)
I’ve seen you play twice before… once supporting Amon Tobin (or was he supporting you?
) at Prince of Wales in Melbourne that was phenomenal… you blew the roof off! Once at Future Music in Perth. When I was courting my now wife in Glasgow, sent a copy of “My Mom’s Favourite DJ” and make her giggle. Was it the album that made her acquiesce to my persistent advances? Who knows?
Great to have you in Australia, and the new album is awesome… *deep bow*
Peace
Phil

Thankyou for rocking the Rosemount! It was awesome… the two friends I brought were amazed (and got the CD)
I met you at the end but we’d had a pint or three (hundred).
Peace!

Hey Phil,
glad your fiance liked Your Mom’s Favorite DJ. giggling is a good response. there was much giggling in the studio while it was being made. And mastered. people still not getting the bonus cricket gag until they have it on their ipods on shuffle. Ha! Glad you liked the gig at Rosemount. We had at a lot of fun in Perth. What a cool crowd.

Hey Rdrox,
no Mexico dates planned yet. Ask your local promoters to reach out to us.

Henning,
As it stands the Sonar gigs in Spain will be the only European shows for The Slew this summer. We have to fly back to North America shortly after that to do a East to West run from Brooklyn to Vancouver. Sorry! Hopefully we’ll get something together for other towns in Europe soon.
