‘Music To Draw To…’ is a quiet time event that kid koala and co. started in January of 2009 in Montreal to warm up the Monday night Montreal winter blues. Attendees received a free hot chocolate and a pencil with admission and kid koala would play 5 hours of quiet time work music while everyone got into their own work zones. Many people brought sketchbooks, some people knit, some people sculpted, video game developers coded, animators brought wacom tablets, screenwriters and playwrights typed. The only rule was no dancing or disturbing others while they worked. Since then kid koala and co. have held ‘Music to Draw to…’ events in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto and London, UK.
